Andrew Caira
Andrew Caira (he/him) is an actor and musician in NYC. He is simply using The Sidekick Troupe as a tool to push him to stardom. He believes his work in the troupe can snag him a spot in Forbes 30 Under 30 in the upcoming years. Following that, he'll be noticed by the Rich Pigs in Hollywood, and will be cast in some big big-budget movie that will win him an Oscar. After that epic high, he will make the mistake of blindly signing on for a movie that will be so terrible, it wins him three Razzie awards in one night. He will then return to the Sidekick Troupe, where he will melt down his trophies and sell the gold to fund the biggest original stage production the world has ever seen. Before he does all that, he'd like to thank his parents and his sister for all their support.
Thoughts on Sidekick?
Sidekick is my constant reminder of why I do theater. It is the culmination of friends putting on a show to make each other laugh and to have some fun, and it's what I want to do for the rest of my life. Oh, and my favorite line I've ever said in a Sidekick show is "Hmm... A gaping hole...".
